Summer and Adam's wedding was indescribably awesome. There were just so much thought and effort that went into making it distinctly 'their' day, and a day that all of their family and friends (and photographers!) would enjoy. From the location, to the donut truck, to the bluegrass band, to the pockets in Summer's dress and personal gifts from Adam to his groomsmen, everything was thoughtfully considered and made for an incredibly memorable day. A lot of it was even handmade by Summer and Adam, including the men's boutonnieres, the pillows for the rings, napkins and even buttons for everyone to wear at the reception. I even found a button with a camera on it.

The ceremony itself incorporated traditions and customs from both of their religions, Christianity and Judaism.
I really had a great time. A few of my favorite photos from the day are below.

I love this shot of Summer and her dad taken by my friend and second photographer for the day, Channon Zabel of
Urban Chic Portraits:
The donut truck was amazing--he cooked the donuts fresh right in the truck and they were fantastic.
A particularly memorable part of the day for me was when the bluegrass band,
Southwater played the traditional Jewish song, Hava Nagila. Being a bluegrass band and all, they had never played it before. But, with the help of some family members, they learned it on the spot and did an incredible bluegrass rendition.
